Busy
I intended to keep up to date with my blog post and give more insight into my creative process but unfortunately outside demands on my time have prevented this from happening over the last few months. I would like to say that all these distractions have been creative but this is not the case. However I am pleased to say that I did manage to achieve some creative ventures before the close of 2024.
I took part in the 8th annual art exhibition at the Storey based in Lancaster, a centre for the creative industries. The Exhibition was hosted by the King Street Arts project which supports artists and the public by putting together various workshops and exhibitions. It was a great event showcasing some fantastic work from artists throughout the North West and the experience left me inspired and keen to look at other such opportunities.
I also took part in the autumn artisan market at the lovely Holden Clough Nursery based in the Ribble Valley. I had a good day getting to know other exhibitors along with chatting to customers and of course making sales. The experience also proved beneficial in paving the way forward with my creativity, giving me insight into the new designs and products that I could offer. So here’s to a new year, I am ready to move on with a new set of plans and ambitions.
