Wild Teasel (Dipsacus fullonum) has cone-shaped flower heads that produce rings of lilac flowers. The plants then die leaving the stems and dry seed heads. These last throughout the winter months providing birds with a valuable food source.

The Teasel nest box is decorated with the ornamental seed heads of Teasel.
